2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on your location and the weight of your order. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

3. Delivery Times

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date, but we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date.

4. Order Processing Time

Currently we ship products out on a Tuesday and a Thursday as this fits in with our local rural postal service. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. Once your order has been processed, we will send you a shipping confirmation email followed by the royal mail dispatch confirmation with tracking information.

5. Shipping Carriers

We use various shipping carriers as required, predominantly the Royal Mail however some orders may fall outside of the Royal Mails remit so we may have to use Parcel force, Evri or DHL, to deliver your order.

Important Livestock Information

At Fantastic Frogs, we care deeply about the wellbeing of our animals. That’s why we want to make sure you have all the information you need to ensure your new pet arrives safely and securely. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines.

Collecting Livestock

At the moment, we cannot ship any livestock. All orders need to be collected in person within 14 days of purchase. If you’re collecting livestock from us, please remember that these are tropical animals that require a stable environment during transport.

It’s the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the animals are transported safely, as we cannot accept liability once they have left our facility. We suggest using a polystyrene box and travelling straight to the animal’s destination once collected. In cold weather, we may ask customers to reschedule collection or utilise heat packs.

Plant Orders

The pictures used on our website are indicative of the plants you’ll receive. However, depending on the growing season, the sizes may differ from those in the image. Please check the pot size on the product description to give you an idea of the plant’s size. The colour and pattern may also be different from the image shown. We receive plants throughout the year, and the light intensity can alter their appearance depending on the time of arrival.

We package our plants as carefully as possible and mark the boxes clearly. You may receive plants with minor damage, which is normal and should not affect the plant once planted. If you receive a damaged plant, we’ll ask for a photo and may request that you return the plant to us for a full refund. We cannot be held responsible for the way the parcel is treated by the courier, but we’ll do our best to replace the items if we can show evidence of the damage caused during shipping. Please photograph any damaged shipments and send us the images so we can take it up with the courier.

You’ll notice that your plant packages will be marked with a plant passport label. This is a requirement for all online plant sales and is used to track reportable plant disease outbreaks by APHA. You’re not required to keep hold of these plant passports, but you may wish to do so as it would allow for easy tracking of the plant back to the source should there be an issue.

Finally, we maintain our plants in a chemical-free environment as the destination of the plants frequently involves delicate amphibians and reptiles. However, this means we cannot guarantee there won’t be any hitchhikers on your plant. Please remember to carefully wash your plant off prior to introduction to the vivarium, check the roots and soil for slug eggs, and we suggest you quarantine your plants for several weeks before introducing them to the vivarium.

Cold Weather

All plants and live foods produced at our facility need to remain unfrozen! During certain times of the year when the weather demands it, we may need to delay shipping or charge for heat packs, insulation, etc. If you’re aware of poor conditions, we would appreciate it if you added a heat pack to your order. If you forget, we may remind you, but this may cause further delays to the shipping of your order.

If you have any enquiries, please contact us. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about our livestock, plants, or shipping policies.

Thank you for choosing Fantastic Frogs as your trusted pet store.
