Tillandsia caput medusae

Description

A tangle of curling leaves with a bulbous base. Caput-medusae brings an unusual outline to an airy branch display.

In your tropical vivarium: Fix to an open upper branch in a brightly lit tropical vivarium with strong ventilation. Choose a spot away from constant misting where the whole plant can dry between waterings.

Care essentials: Bright, filtered light and regular watering with thorough drying afterwards. Keep the base out of soil and avoid trapped water around the crown.

Also at home: Display on wood or in an open holder near a bright window. This air plant needs no potting soil and must retain good airflow.
