Stelis itatiayae (species 17)

Description

Many small flowers on slender spikes. Stelis itatiayae brings maroon blooms with pale edges to a humid planting.

In your tropical vivarium: Mount on cork or a branch at viewing height in your tropical vivarium. Keep the roots exposed to moving air, with space for new growth and flower stems.

Care essentials: Filtered light, humidity and gentle ventilation. Water the roots regularly but let excess drain promptly; never bury them in dense, soggy soil.

Also at home: Use a mount or small orchid pot with an open mix in a humid, ventilated plant cabinet. Match the temperature to the species.
