Description

Fern-like texture for the lower layers. Upright Selaginella griffithii adds fine green foliage to a shaded, humid planting.

In your tropical vivarium: Plant around wood, rocks or the base of larger foliage in your tropical vivarium. Use it to soften bare substrate and trim back if it crowds smaller plants.

Care essentials: Filtered light and steady humidity. Keep the substrate consistently moist with drainage, and protect from drying airflow or heat.

Also at home: Grow in a small pot inside a humid terrarium or plant cabinet. A dry shelf will not provide the conditions it needs.
