Description
Build a shingled green wall. Rhaphidophora hayi holds its leaves close to a support, making the climbing pattern part of the display.
In your tropical vivarium: Start against cork, tree fern or a damp textured background in your tropical vivarium. Guide new stems onto the surface so the leaves follow the support; trim when needed.
Care essentials: Filtered light, high humidity and gentle airflow. Keep the rooting area moist but aerated, with no standing water.
Also at home: Grow in a draining pot against a board or moss support inside a humid plant cabinet or terrarium display.
