Oophaga pumilio “Isla San Cristóbal “

One of our favourites here at Fantastic frogs and its easy to see why, these are well grown on juveniles fantastically rich in colour thanks to the carotenoids in the parents diet.

Distribution: Slight variations can be found across almost all of Isla Cristóbal, Bocas del Toro province Panama.

Habitat: Often encountered in highly altered areas, including gardens as well as surrounding secondary rainforest. These areas have fluctuating humidity, seasonally experiencing periods of very low rainfall.
