Masdevallia minuta

Description

A tiny Masdevallia for a humid tropical scene. This miniature can grow mounted or rooted in a suitable airy medium, in warm to cool conditions.

In your tropical vivarium: Mount on cork or a branch at viewing height in your tropical vivarium. Keep the roots exposed to moving air, with space for new growth and flower stems.

Care essentials: Filtered light, humidity and gentle ventilation. Water the roots regularly but let excess drain promptly; never bury them in dense, soggy soil.

Also at home: Use a mount or small orchid pot with an open mix in a humid, ventilated plant cabinet. Match the temperature to the species.
