Dendrobates auratus “Capurgana”

FF CB2022  3 months post metamorphosis froglets, one of the most striking Dendrobates auratus morphs, as the frogs age the green colouration lightens in colour to a lime/lemon yellow.

Distribution: Found in the forests to the north and east of Capurganá, Colombia

Habitat: Found predominantly in primary  forests.

Origins: CB 2022 at Fantastic frogs.
