Billbergia “Afterglow”

Description

Deep pink-red leaves that flare outwards. Afterglow reaches around 45cm tall, with occasional pale green spots.

In your tropical vivarium: Place towards the back of a taller tropical vivarium for upright structure. Secure it in a stable mount or planting pocket and leave room above for new growth.

Care essentials: Bright, filtered light and good airflow. Keep roots free-draining and refresh the water held between the leaves.

Also at home: Use a stable pot with drainage and an airy bromeliad mix. Style it as a vertical accent beside broader-leaved houseplants.
