Oophaga pumilio Aguacaté Peninsula
CB 2026 here at Fantastic frogs. These are a quite variable locality, upon the Aguacate penisula you can find locales such as Esperanza, Tierra Oscura (Dark lands) and others, at the Tierra Oscura site i saw frogs very similar to these as well as frogs with colouration more similar to Escudo, with red backs and purple/blue legs and vent, in the hobby frogs identified as Darklands are usually very blue and often confused with Cauchero while Esperanza are usually more red, our adults are pictured here whilst are young are a mixture of blue frogs as well as some with red/bronze backs.
